Xiaomi first introduced the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China in April, and the firm is now preparing to offer it to worldwide markets. The new Xiaomi smartphone is planned to be released in Hong Kong and other regions next week. The phone's home page has gone up on Xiaomi's Hong Kong website, confirming the device's launch date. The page also mentions the phone's essential characteristics, however there are no specifics on worldwide price yet.


Xiaomi has officially confirmed the Xiaomi 13 Ultra's global launch date. On June 7, the smartphone will make its debut in Hong Kong. The website's landing page displays a countdown timer until the phone's release.


In the next weeks, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is scheduled to be released in Europe and other territories, including India. The specifics of its release in other areas have yet to be divulged. On its Hong Kong website, Xiaomi has also revealed photographs of the phone in its green colour variation, as well as essential features. The phone has a Leica-branded quad-camera array on the rear panel, housed in a circular camera island.


There is no official announcement about the phone's global price. However, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is scheduled to be released in Europe for EUR 1,499 (about Rs. 1,33,000) for the single 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage was priced at CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 71,600) when it was released in China in April, while the mid-range 16GB RAM + 512GB storage edition was priced at CNY 6,499 (about Rs. 77,500). The top-of-the-line 16GB + 1TB model cost CNY 7,299 (about Rs. 87,000).


In April 2023, Xiaomi released the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China. The smartphone has a 6.73-inch AMOLED WQHD+ (3,200 x 1,440) display with an up to 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The device is powered by a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU with up to 16GB LPPDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It comes pre-installed with MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.


In terms of optics, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra features a Leica-tuned quad camera configuration headlined by a 50-megapixel 1-inch IMX989 main sensor. There are three 50-megapixel IMX858 sensors as well. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera is available for selfies.
