In February of this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23 series. While the flagship phones have improved cameras, numerous Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ customers have observed camera blur in close-up images. Samsung has now verified the problem on their European community website. The business stated that a software update would be released to address this issue. The South Korean company has also outlined the cause of the problem as well as a remedy to prevent the blurring.

Samsung acknowledged on its community website that the area around the subject appears hazy in close-up photographs taken with the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+. The business also stated that the S23 and S23+'s rear wide-angle camera has a bright aperture, which causes the backdrop of the photographs to seem fuzzy. Samsung has said that the problem would be resolved with a software update.

In the meanwhile, Samsung has released various workarounds for the camera blur issue on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+. Users are advised to shoot images from a little larger distance or to hold the phone upright when photographing. Holding the phone horizontally or obliquely might cause the backdrop to seem fuzzy.

In February, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Many commonalities exist between the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+, including a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate ranging from 48Hz to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz in gaming mode. Both phones use a customised version of Qualcomm's newest processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy.

The phones include a triple back camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel main wide-angle sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 12-megapixel selfie camera is also included with the phones.
