The Nothing Phone 2 will be made in India. The Nothing Phone 2 is slated to launch with significant improvements over the first-generation smartphone from the UK-based business run by OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei. It is confirmed to have a strong Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Specifications for the device have leaked online ahead of its release. Nothing recently highlighted its environmental efforts in the creation of the Nothing Phone 2, which included the use of recyclable materials and plastic-free packaging.

The Nothing Phone 2 will be produced in India, the London-based company revealed on Monday. It should be noted that this is not the business's first smartphone to be constructed in India; last year, the company announced that the Nothing Phone 1 will be made in India, with over 270 customer care facilities opening throughout the nation.

The Nothing Phone 2 will already have a 6.7-inch display, which is slightly larger than its predecessor. Pei has also stated that the device would include a 4,700mAh battery, which is larger than the 4,500mAh battery seen in the Nothing Phone 1.

Nothing Phone 2 will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship-grade Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is more powerful than its predecessor's Snapdragon 778G+. A Qualcomm official previously revealed these data, which Pei later verified.

The phone was discovered on Geekbench last month, with scores of 1253 and 3833 points in Geekbench 5's single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The phone is said to have 12GB of RAM and run Android 13. The phone is also said to have acquired BIS certification ahead of its launch in the nation.

The phone will also receive three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security patches, putting it on line with OnePlus and Oppo. Meanwhile, for qualified handsets, Samsung and Google provide up to five years of software support.
