On Thursday, Google introduced a plethora of new features for Android smartphones, tablets, and Wear OS wearables. The most recent updates feature three new widgets for Google Finance, Google TV, and Google New for customising the home screen of an Android phone or tablet. Furthermore, Google's June feature update includes a "Reading practise" option on Google Play Books to help users improve their vocabulary and comprehension abilities. Users can now remix their favourite emoji into stickers in the Emoji Kitchen. Furthermore, Google One account subscribers in the United States may access Dark Web Reports.

Google revealed new features coming soon to Android smartphones, tablets, and Wear OS wearables in a blog post on June 1. Google Play Books will soon have a "Reading practise" feature. Using their Android phones or tablets, readers will be able to enhance their vocabulary and comprehension abilities with this new mode. This allows readers to hear the pronunciation of new words, practise mispronounced terms, and receive real-time feedback. This is supported by e-books labelled "Practise" in Google Play Books.

Google is also releasing three new phone and tablet widgets: Google Finance, Google TV, and Google News. This would allow users to configure their smartphones' home screens with shortcuts and have customised movie and stock choices, as well as vital headlines, at their fingertips.

Emoji Kitchen will be upgraded as part of the June feature update. Users may now remix emojis into stickers to send as messages using Gboard.

In addition, the Dark Web report, which was previously available only to Google One account subscribers in the United States, is being made more widely available. The tool, which was first introduced at I/O 2023, allows users to check if their information has been exposed on the Dark Web and receive advice on how to secure oneself online. Google One users in the United States may use the website and App to scan for extra personal information such as their social security number. In the next months, the Dark Web study will be released in 20 nations.
